How do I set up a bank account in Turkey
There are many banks with offices in Bodrum including at least one major UK bank.
To open a bank account in Bodrum you will first need to go to the Tax Office to get a tax number (you will need to present your passport and have the address of where you are staying in Bodrum). Once you have this you can go to any of the banks to open an account. At the UK bank the application form is in both Turkish and English. Once complete there is a small tax fee you have to pay before the account can be opened but (at present) you don't have to make any sort of deposit.
